I am all about reaching out and grabbing things! It could be my mum’s glasses or dad’s beard. I love playing with rattles & plastic bottles. I have even mastered removing my dummy and putting it back in, but only if I want to.
I still like having a bath, especially now I have some fun toys to play with (santa gave me some).
I can now roll from my back to belly but am having trouble getting back to where I started. I have started sleeping on my side and belly (even if mum rolls me on my back, I roll straight back over).
When I am on my belly I can lift my head up and chest off the ground, pretty clever hey!
I have found my voice and am squealing like no one’s business, maybe I will be a rock star!
I love having a good laugh at my parents, grandparents & their friends especially when they make funny faces and noises at me.
I enjoy putting my feet in my mouth, sometimes 2 at a time and sucking on my fist yeah, I love sucking on my fist.
Today my mum walked me over to the shops. I did some sleeping, she did some shopping and then after I woke up we went and saw Santa.
I was very patient waiting in line for about 20 minutes. Just before my turn I started crying as I was getting tired but then the nice lady picked me up and gave me to Santa.
Santa was very big, he was wearing a soft red suit with white trim & a black belt. Santa had a big white beard and white fluffy eye brows.
Santa was very nice to me and I was laughing at him. Another lady took photos of me while I sat on Santa’s lap.
After a couple of photos mum came over to get me, Santa told me to be good for my mum and to keep my room clean.
It was such a big morning that on the way home I fell asleep.
At first all I could do was sit in my bouncer, sometimes during the day mum and dad would bounce me off to sleep in it and it also has a an option to vibrate which I like as well.
It is very comfortable and has big bright colours & animals printed on it. Just recently mum put the attachment on it, the attachment is a bar that has a monkey(that rings like a bell), lion (plays music) and hippo(rattles) that dangle above me.
This week I have started to be able to reach out and hit the toys that dangle in front of me while I sit in my bouncer.
At first I could hit the green ring attached to the monkey on my left and then I would concentrate very hard on the red ring attached to the hippo on my right, but I would get the signals confused and hit the monkey.
It didn’t take long for me to figure it out and now I am also hitting the blue ring attached to the lion in the middle, I will sometimes use both hands.
I have even been able to reach out and grab them. Once I held on to the blue ring attached to the lion and pulled and a song played.
With a little encouragement at times I am able to reach out and grab and rattle each of the toys.
My mum thinks I am pretty clever to be able to do this.
is my favourite book. My mum reads it to me every day and I laugh lots because it’s funny.
